DSP And Software Defined Radio Sdr

Oftelsat a leader in the pioneering of Software Defined Radio SDR is working together with other vendors in the United States building the Software Designed Radio SDR1000. With SDR computer hardware can be used as radio hardware. The SDR uses software digital signal processing which will in the future be part of Wifi and wiMAX devices. Parallel processing makes possible more bandwidth and a higher bitrate. With advent of DSP processors almost two decades ago computer and communications technology saw a DSP leveraged to provide sound fax video and telecommunications capabilities wrapped in a simple small package. Now companies such as Oftelsat are calling for more cooperation from DSP development leaders. Oftelsat acknowledges that such expertise and knowledge is not widespread and a lot of work needs to be done. People with experience in Digital Signal processing DSP and/or DSP programming tools digital signal generation filtering and demodulation of complex waveforms as well as people with organizational and communication skills are being sought to enter the arena of this new SDR innovation. Even though tools for digital signal processing are very expensive and the companies which focus on DSP development are rare once the SDR proves to be workable there’s no debate about how such a tool could help in building connectivity.

Oftelsat is building a device using shortwave 30 Mhz multislotted radio systems. The radios work with digital signal processing and advanced serial modulation using soundcards up to 128 kbs per channel over Near Vertical Incident Skywave NVIS . Wifi is used for space division between shortwave nodes. The device will be intelligent meaning that it chooses the best frequencies and using load balancing route via the nodes with the best propagation. For the node operators this process is automatic and transparent.

We took up the plan to develop a tactical shortwave radio system for rural and remote areas capable delivering 64 Kbsec over distances more than 500 km as an addition to Wifi/Wimax possibilities which end at 50 km.

The Promotional Gifts Guide – The Vanilla Sauce Of Promotional Gifts

The essence of promotional gifts is the pullingpower they can add to any dimension of a promotional marketing campaign. The problem is that the term Promotional Gifts covers such a wide range of uses from giveaways to executive gifts. For some it is almost as though they need to be seen to spend a portion of their promotional budget on gifts no matter what. Others though take a more strategic approach. Off course a promotional gifts company will want to satisfy allcomers but there is a lot to be said for the latter as they tend to form longer lasting relationships and allow promotional gifts suppliers to become a more integral part of their marketing activities.

The term promotional gifts differs in use across continents. We tend to use this term in the UK alongside promotional products but in the US it is more common to substitute items for gifts or merchandise for products. Giveaways refers to the lowercost end of the spectrum with bulk purchases for tradeshows exhibitions and conferences.

So what is the true vanilla? Well the point about promotional gifts is that they can be used to stimulate response to many of the marketing communications mix elements. In doing so they can help to identify spends that work and those that do not.

Reality takes a bite these days when we consider the waste involved within traditional marketing. There is now little room for muck against the wall spending and it is important for organisations to take an environmentallyfriendly approach throughout their businesses. The internet has had a big impact here as companies offer selfhelp brochureware websites and selfservice database ecommerce websites. Visitors can download datasheet PDFs and information rather than request printed materials to be sent via post or view samples and visuals online. In fact most information these days is electronically available dramatically reducing the number of printed catalogues and leaflets.

This move to electronicbased marketing communications has had a dramatic impact on the work that used to flow naturally to printers. It is perhaps a reason why more are opting for work within the gifts segment of the promotional industry. But can promotional gifts themselves reduce marketing waste? The answer is an emphatic yes because whether you are running print media broadcast or internetbased campaigns promotional items can help improve response rates leading to potentially higher sales and perhaps conversion rates.

The days of wasted marketing spend are over. Promotional gifts and their use in strategically targeted marketing programmes are here to stay.

5 Ways To Exploit Myspace In Your Way

Have you heard of the popular social networking site known as MySpace? I’d be more than willing to bet that you definitely have heard about this feature packed method of staying in touch with your online buddies and letting people know interesting little tidbits about yourself. The most interesting thing about MySpace is the potential to reach a large niche audience quickly and easily by using a few “secrets of the pro’s” that will let you covertly slip below the radar while capitalizing mountains of fresh stampeding traffic.
This young site already has some entrepreneurial minds spinning their wheels on various methods they could possibly use to cash in on this goldmine. However it will take some definite outside of the box thinking to reach these types of target audiences when they’re in a “comfortable” online environment. I have come up with a few methods of capitalizing on the amount of traffic that moves through the MySpace website on a daily basis while staying within their terms of service. 1. Add as many friends as possible using specialty software. The more friends you have on MySpace the larger audience you have to market your products and services to. There is even specialty software as I mentioned that will let you extract MySpace ID’s from certain web pages on the site and then automatically send new friend requests on complete autopilot.

2. Frequently post on your MySpace blog and let your friends know when you have made new posts. Your MySpace blog is the exact place where you can ramble on about anything you see fit. So why not use it as a method to talk a little bit about your business or products or heck follow suit with many other MySpacer’s and start a band and then go into details about all of your shows by using your blog!

3. I mentioned in tip 2 to post on your blog frequently and to let your friends know when you’ve made new posts. You can let them know by sending bulletins to all the friends on your list. You can even use HTML in these bulletins which would enable you to include any graphical hyperlinks that you could use. If you have a logo or banner this would be something you would definitely want to include in your bulletins.

4. Post messages on other people’s profiles. You can add new comments onto anyone’s profile individually or you can use some specialty software to send out mass comments to all of your friends. Just be sure to use some generic nonoffensive comments that promote you or your business in a roundabout but interesting way.

5. Send messages to users telling them a little bit about yourself and your website. Be sure to include hyperlinks and answer any questions promptly. This is yet another great way to capitalize on some of the MySpace craze. for mor e info www.myspacemarketingsecret.com.I hope you enjoyed this article and are seriously considering some of the income potential that awaits you on MySpace. Good luck and don’t hesitate to get the tools necessary for a successful social network marketing campaign that could earn you hundreds or even thousands of dollars in extra monthly income whether it’s for yourself or in the name of your business.
