Secret To Attracting Money Revealed In Cheshire
With the economy continuing to paint a bleak picture a new book is being launched in Cheshire which offers a different approach for people in the North West looking to the power of attraction to increase their wealth.
How To Become A Money Magnet has been written by MarieClaire Carlyle a transformational coach Feng Shui consultant and inspirational speaker.
Based in Chester MarieClaire has spent most of her working life coaching others to achieve their ambitions and dreams.
She has chosen to launch the book on Friday May 29 at the newlyopened home of Floor Couture brand Barefoot located in Bosley Congleton.
The multimillion pound showroom has been created by entrepreneur Dawn Gibbins a close friend of MarieClaire on the principles of Feng Shui offering an auspicious location for the launch.
Over the years Dawn recently been named SHE International Businesswoman of the Year has had life coaching with MarieClaire and will share her experiences with guests at the launch event.
MarieClaire will also give a talk offering an insight into the books themes and concept.
MarieClaire said: The book is based on the How to become a Money Magnet workshop which I developed and ran every month for a year. The workshop delivered immediate positive results in the finances of the attendees.
The book contains many of the exercises and more from the original workshop as well as many real life inspiring case studies.
It asks people to examine their core beliefs and values around money and to uncover where their beliefs about money may have been limiting them.
I chose to launch the book at the brand new showrooms of Barefoot Living because Dawn is one of our most shining examples of a Money Magnet in the UK.
Being a Money Magnet is actually less about the money and more about the passion of following hearts dreams. When people are true to their desires and dare to give their true value to the world money becomes a natural byproduct of that offering. Thats why the cover of the book features a heart rather than a wad of banknotes.
A small number of tickets are available for the book launch priced at 25 each 40 for two. The ticket price includes a copy of the book which retails at 18.99. To register email or call Rosie Tams at rosiebarefoot.co.uk tel 01260 222122. The book launch takes places between 10am and 2pm.

Not A Fad A Way Of Life
Youve probably heard a lot about social media. Youre wondering if this blogging thing is a fad. You think you might need finally figure Twitter out. And you should be wondering if this has any impact on your career.
The short answers: it depends maybe and you bet.
Most people can be forgiven for thinking that what goes on in the Web belongs to an entirely different realm of social discourse. After all theres a whole complicated set of rules and nomenclature you have to learn. And the technology seems so complicated who has time to learn all of that?
The long answer is its all about connecting and relationships. Human beings are social animals and the Web and all of this new social media technology only serves to amplify that fact.
If you are in marketing and since you are reading this article its safe to assume you are you are in the relationship business so its your job to understand it. But dont worry Im here to help.
With all the technology and fancy names its easy to lose sight of the fact that social media is really something weve been doing for all of human history. The earliest commerce took place in public squares where merchants would interact directly with potential buyers. For most of our history the public square served not only as a commercial marketplace but also as a marketplace of ideas.
And thus it was until the dawn of the 20th century and the birth of mass production mass markets and mass media. Instead of onetoone conversations we have one speaking to many. Or in the case of the typical US household there were three TV stations one newspaper and a couple of radio stations.
Media was restrictive and viewers were truly captive. Im fond of telling my children who grew up on TiVo and TV on demand that when I was their age if I wanted to watch Captain Kangaroo I had to be dressed and downstairs by 7AM. And if I had to go to the bathroom and missed something I was out of luck.
This is the media environment we live in today. We now have instant media on demand either on our settop box online from iTunes or Hulu and on any device the TV your iPod or PSP or a laptop.
And the market environment is similarly fractured. For one thing the most important thing the group of people we used to call consumers arent just consuming anymore. They are answering back. They are expressing their opinions through blogs user forums online review sites local news sites or email groups.
So in a sense the Web has replaced the public square of old and the mass media of a few decades ago. Now instead of facetoface negotiations as in the olden days or the mass markets common in the 20th century we are free to buy and sell directly from anyone in the world. In this new environment individuals not corporations read advertisers or more precisely your clients are in charge.
But dont be afraid of this brave new world. As savvy marketers we have so many more tools at our disposal than we ever had before. Instead of a few TV networks some major newspapers and magazines we now have millions of blogs podcasts video blogs user forums and other social media tools to use for our clients. And if we so choose we can create our own blogs podcasts etc. to get our message out directly to the world instead of filtering it through the traditional media channels.
In the coming months Ill get more specific and delve into some of the more popular tools out there. But for now just go and try it. Start a blog or comment on one. Listen to a podcast. Participate in a user forum.
Just keep in mind its all about conversation. Talk dont lecture. And dont forget to listen. Most importantly dont get bogged down in the minutia dont worry if you should blog or podcast or how long your comments should be. Just do it.

Ways To Find A Good Real Estate Bargain
When you want to give a head start to your real estate investment career you can start off by purchasing small older apartments situated at a good location and available at smaller down payments. When you are a new investor and you are not sure what sort of property will be suitable for your expectations and needs it is better to start off small.
It is necessary that you first build up a good network with people like the attorneys the real estate brokers etc. The real estate attorneys are well aware of the laws and the statutes related to real estate. Moreover they are usually in constant contact with the people who wish to sell their properties for reasons such as illness death at home divorce job loss etc. They usually approach people like attorneys and Realtors to assist them in selling their properties.
There could be other distressed properties like those in foreclosures which may be up for grabs at a good bargain. If you find such properties suitable for your needs then you may be able to approach the homeowner to explore the possibility of buying them. If you are considerate and show due understanding of their situation you may be able to strike a deal with them. Start at a lower price and move up to a price that you are prepared to pay. You can get the property at a good bargain at the auctions also. Such properties are generally repossessed and auctioned by banks financial institutions IRS GSA FDIC FHA VA etc and may make for a good bargain.
The newspaper advertisements about the resale of property held by home owners may also offer you good bargains. You can also log on to different websites who offer such services and who can send you some regular or even daily listings of such properties. These sites try to regularly update you on the properties that have been put up for sale by the owners or other investors. You can also become a part of the investors groups who can be great support to find good bargains.
All the properties that are flipped are not in a bad shape. If you are allowed to undertake an inspection of the property you may be able to find some property that may need just a few repairs. Survey the neighborhood to find what types of home exist around that area. If you are buying a family home make sure it is in an area with a low crime rate and with an easy access to public utilities like school hospital entertainment hubs etc. Such bargains from flipping investors can also get you a good property to renovate it and earn substantial profits in due course.
There are many more ways to find a good real estate bargain including a few unconventional ones. You never know when having a junk and disposal business owner as a friend can prove to of great help to you. Such a person will be among the first people to know that a property is up for sale as he would be called up to clean out the basements and attics. You may be the first one to approach the seller with an offer and if they are in a dire need to sell off you may be able to get a good bargain.
It is important to understand that you cannot pinpoint what works the best. An investor may benefit immensely by the contacts they develop with people related to the real estate field in some way or other.
